Phylogenetic relationships between HAmo LINEs and other LINE families belonging to L2 clade. Analysis was performed using partial RTase of HAmo LINE and full length RTase of other LINEs. The phylogenetic tree was constructed by the neighbor-joining method (with programs in the MEGA4 package [44]). Numbers above the branches indicate the bootstrap values per 1000 replications and provide an indication of the statistical significance of the nodes. Related references of used LINEs are as follows: UnaL2 [26]; L2A (Eutheria consensus, RepBase 1999); CiLINE2 [45]; Maui (AAD19348); CR1-2_DR, CR1-1_DR, CR1-3_DR, CR1-4_DR, CR1-1_AG, CR1-1a_AG were obtained from Repbase[43]
