Reduced GSH levels in H 2 O 2 -treated and untreated wild type and WrnΔhel/Δhelmouse embryonic fibroblasts determined by the intensity of fluorescence per μg of protein. Fluorescence of reduced GSH was detected with the ApoGSH glutathione detection kit (Bio Vision Mountain View, CA). Oxidative stress was induced by treating cells with 0.5 mM H2O2 one hour and fresh medium was then added for an additional 24 hours to allow the cells to recover before measurements. (*t-test: P < 0.001 compared to untreated wild type mouse embryonic fibroblasts).
