Sequences complementary to Shine-Dalgarno [16] sequences or translation initiation codons are underlined and shown in red. A conserved stretch of nucleotides found in virtually all csRNAs is underlined and shown in blue. These csRNAs were verified by northern blot analysis (Figure 6).
