(B) Motif analysis was performed on the 346 sites bound by both factors; the overrepresented ETS motif is shown. Pie chart shows the occurrence of the DR1 motif, ETS motif and neither of these motifs. (C) Histogram shows binding of TR4 and ELK4 relative to the transcription start sites. Binding sites were binned into 50 base pair bins. Number of peaks is shown on the y axis; distance relative to transcription start site is plotted on the x axis.
