Example of case 3 in Fig. 1, where an SNP oligomer (Hapmap57046-rs29017141) is mapped on different chromosomes: A) between exons 14 and 15 within the bos taurus transcription factor 12 gene (TCF12) on chromosome 10 and B) within 100 kb downstream of a region on chromosome 4 that closely matches the human homologue of the ACTR3 gene.
