Genes involved in muscles, lipids, and the immune system are denoted by blue triangles, green circles, and red rectangles, respectively. For example, HLA-DQB1 and AR were highly expressed in Texel, whereas MYL6B was highly expressed in Ujumqin sheep. Other genes expressed differentially are denoted by gray rectangles.
