Proposed regulatory network for chicken IMF based on significantly different GO terms and KEGG pathways. This network is involved in several cellular functions including lipid metabolism (pathways for ErbB, MAPK & PPAR signaling) and cell junction (tight junction, ECM-receptor interaction, focal adhesion, regulation of actin cytoskeleton). Whether or not cell junction related pathways function on IMF deposition through lipid metabolism related pathways (dotted lines) needs further study.
