  1. The genotype of C57BL/6J was used as reference for the sequence polymorphisms. The knockout mutant phenotype was identified in the MGI Mouse Genome Database. Gene Fign (fidgetin) fulfilled most criteria but was found to be expressed only at late times p.i. (after day 14) and was therefore omitted from the candidate gene list.
