Number of regions displaying promoter patterns that are found to be overlapping with genome annotation, transcripts or other regulatory regions. The search for regions that overlap was done hierarchically. Hence at the end, the unmapped regions are region that do no overlap with any of the genome annotation, transcripts or other regulatory regions.
