The Neighbor-joining tree was calculated with concatenated MLST sequences from 345 reference strains from the H. pylori MLST database (http://pubmlst.org/helicobacter/) and from all strains analysed in this study. MLST database phylogeography assignments are indicated by coloured triangles, and locations of sequenced strains are indicated by red dots.
