All measurements are based on a 2 kb region surrounding the TSS. Promoter sequence conservation was calculated using PhastCons scores, based on 17 vertebrate species’ genomes. Promoter Regulatory Potential was calculated using Regulatory Potential (RP) scores (see Methods).
