Comparative analysis of the complete genome sequence of P. sabinae T27. (A) Alignment of the chromosomes from P. sabinae T27, P. azotofixans ATCC35681 and P. polymyxa SC2, generated using the Artemis Comparison Tool. The gray bands located at the top, middle and bottom represent the forward and reverse DNA strands for the chromosome sequences. The red lines correspond to regions of similarity between two chromosomes. The blue lines correspond to regions of rearrangement and recombination between two chromosomes. White regions are those that are unique to one strain. (B) Venn diagram depicting the shared genes which were present in all the P. sabinae T27, C. acetobutylicum ATCC 824, Frankia sp. CcI3 and N. punctiforme PCC 73102 and the specific genes which were present and absent from all the four species, and vice-versa.
