GeneNest Ovis aries gene index database. In this example, the data for integrin-binding sialoprotein (IBSP) are shown. A cluster based on three contigs, each of which can be individually displayed, corresponds to IBSP. EST sequences from which the contigs were constructed as well as their locations and libraries are displayed. A consensus sequence can be downloaded for each contig. Open-reading frames can be optionally displayed, and other options for data display are available [12]. The database is publicly available at http://genenest.molgen.mpg.de/cgi-bin/search_db?db=Oa5.
