Cluster analysis of RT-PCR expression values. A dendogram showing expression profiles of the genes investigated by RT-PCR. For each of the 78 genes investigated by RT-PCR, expression values for 10d, 14d, and 42d were normalized to those at day 7 and clustered hierarchically by complete linkage (Values for IBSP were normalized to expression at day 10 because there was no detectable expression at day 7). The number of clusters was estimated by analysis with the gap-statistic (see Fig. 6). Six clusters A-F are shown.
