Cytokine quantitation in lung extracts and plasma of E. coli challenged baboons. TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-4, IL-6, IL-8, IL-10 and G-CSF were assayed in lung lysates and plasma using a multiplex assay, as described in the Methods section. The values represent calculated as ratio per total protein in cell lysates or per ml of plasma, and presented as mean ± SD (n = 3).
