M = log₂ fold change in expression, t = t-statistic, and the P value = t-distribution. The adjusted P values were calculated using the False Discovery Rate (FDR) procedure. Negative values of M and t indicate up-regulation in the Cy5 sample (* multiple values represent several cDNAs all forming one contig).
