RPKM < 0.1 was used as the criterion to judge the unigenes were not expressed during a given developmental stage. Absolute value of Log2Ratio ≥ 1 were used as thresholds for ‘differential expression’. The P450 genes reported to be involved in insect hormone biosynthesis and metabolism are shown in bold. 1: 1st instar larvae; 3: 3rd instar larvae; 6: 6th instar larvae
