The concentration of dhurrin and proanthocyanidins (PAs) measured pr. grain (a) and pr. mg grain tissue (b) at different days after anthesis (DAA). The dhurrin concentration is measured in nmol and the PA concentration as absorbance. The colored circles represent the actual measurements in the three replicas and the solid line the trend line calculated using local polynomial regression fitting, with the area surrounding the average line representing the 95% confidence interval. Each measurement represents the average of 5 grains with one of the five grains and husks displayed in the table (c)
