From: Histone acetylations mark origins of polycistronic transcription in Leishmania major
Antisera against TBP and SNAP 50 preferentially precipitate tRNA/snRNA sequences. L. major chromatin was immunoprecipitated using antisera against TBP (top panel) or SNAP50 (middle panel) and PCR amplification carried out using primers specific for the U2/tRNAAla locus on chr31, which is bound by both TBP and SNAP50 in L. tarentolae [24] and the LmjF01.0530 gene on chr1 as a control. The numbers at top represent PCR cycles. The input control in the bottom panel represents amplification of chromatin without immunoprecipitation.
