PCR assays of genomic DNA from wheat (A) and Puccinia striiformis f. sp. tritici (B) using gene specific primers of the 18 TDFs that have high homologies with P. graminis genes. DNA was extracted from wheat cv. 'Suwon 11' leaves and urediniospores of P. striiformis f. sp. tritici pathotype CY31. 20 ng DNA was subjected to PCR amplification using gene specific primers at annealing temperature of 53°C. The amplified products were analyzed using 1.5% agarose gel electrophoresis.
