Nucleosome enrichment correlates with protein coding region for most genes. The patterns of log2 ratio of H4 ChIP for the 1 kb region upstream and downstream and inside of the open reading frame (ORF) for all genes at ring (top row), trophozoite (middle row), and schizont (bottom row) stages were grouped into five sets using K-means clustering. The red line indicates the start and end of the ORF.
