The evolutionary tree of PBP and GOBP. The tree was constructed by MEGA4.0 program with neighbor-joining phylogeny and the p-distances model. It was generated with 1000 bootstrap replications. Only the proteins originally named as PBP or GOBP were used in this analysis. The accession numbers of GOBPs and PBPs used in this analysis were listed in Additional File 6. The bootstrap values were given in Additional File 8-A.
