The flowchart of the proposed approach is illustrated here, involving mainly two components: (1) Module selection is performed after data preprocessing (including missing value imputation and normalization) to produce the module expression patterns; (2) the reverse engineering procedure PSO-RNN determines both the structure and corresponding parameters of a RNN which represents the underlying structure of a module network.
