Quantitative real-time PCR validation for selected genes. The expression of these selected genes were based on stringent statistical criterion (FDR<0.0005) and/or biological function of interest. Most of these genes show concentration-dependent induction by HgCl2 that are also sensitive to low concentration at 10 μg/L, indicating the potential of these genes as markers for mercury-induced hepatotoxicity.
