From: Powdery mildew fungal effector candidates share N-terminal Y/F/WxC-motif
Barley epidermal strips containing Bgh haustoria used to generate cDNA library. At 7 days post inoculation the surface fungal material was removed prior to sampling and the strip was stained with Coomassie Brilliant Blue to visualize haustoria. mRNA was extracted from comparable tissue and used to generate the described cDNA library.
