Label protocol and control genes. (a) Scheme of the labeling protocol, which consisted of the following steps: (I) extraction of polyA + RNA, (II) first-strand cDNA synthesis employing a chimeric primer including the T7 promoter sequences and a stretch of random bases, (III) second-strand cDNA synthesis, (IV) in vitro transcription using the T7 RNA polymerase in the presence of a labeled ribonucleotide (Cy3- or Cy5-CTP).
