Sub-telomeric regions of chromosome II of T. annulata and T. parva. Synteny is partially conserved between T. annulata and T. parva at sub-telomeric loci. For the majority of genes, direct orthologues were identified in each genome at the same locus (e.g. SVSP1) or at different loci (e.g. SVSP4) together with evidence of gene duplication and chromosomal recombination within each species.
