  1. The list includes the most differentially expressed genes in bone marrow adipocytes compared to epididymal adipocytes. The set of the significantly differentially expressed genes was selected on the basis of their expression in adipose cells according to the IPA knowledge-base. For each gene, the fold change value in gene expression was calculated between mean values in bone marrow adipocytes versus epididymal adipocytes in mice (6-month, 14-month and 18-month old). The significance of differences was measured by one-way ANOVA. All values are p < 0.01 except * P > 0.01
