(b) Frequency and size distribution of small RNAs reads. (c) A high proportion of 22 nt reads in each library are derived from miR172c locus. The small RNA reads derived from miR172c in sorghum stem tissue are 22 nt in length in contrast to the previously predicted length of 20 nt.
