Principal Component Analysis (PCA) scatter-plots (generated via REViGO [60]) of the abundance of gene ontology (GO) terms related to biological processes. GO terms are represented by circles. Circles representing similar GO terms are clustered closer together than circles representing un-related GO terms. The sizes (large = high, small = low) and colours (red = high, green = moderate, blue = low) of circles are proportional to the numbers of functional annotations (GO terms) predicted in the BAC-end sequences of Lupinus angustifolius. GO terms representative of clusters of circles with high or low abundance have been labelled where appropriate.
