Identification of solute-binding proteins in R. palustris which bind aromatic compounds. A graph of the Tm shifts between protein with and without ligand displays six Solute-Binding Proteins which showed significant and specific stabilization with various structurally related aromatic compounds known as breakdown products of lignin in the soil environment.
