Graphical representation of the FReDoWS model process developed in JaWE2.0-2[35]. Each type of activity corresponds to a different color. The activities in green are executed by the user. Activities in purple indicate they are subflows, which in turn, represent a set of other activities, such as internal transitions, participants, application definitions, and other workflow relevant data. Activities in lime are executed by the system and with which the user can not interfere. This type of activity can invoke one or more external applications that are defined in JaWE and executed by Shark through a WAPI (Workflows APIs and Interchange Formats). Finally, the activity in fuchsia is used for synchronization and to formulate complex and sophisticated transitional conditions.
