Length-cardinality repeat distributions. In this figure four examples are reported, related to the MR computations of Mycoplasma mycoides, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Sorangium cellulosum. Here we observe that |R k | has an exponential decay with the word length k. Moreover, very long repeat words were found for any of the genomes we analyzed.
