Clustering of the transcriptional profiles is revealed by a condition tree calculated with a hierarchical cluster algorithm, using Pearson absolute distance metric and the average linkage rule. The length of the branch is an indicator of the number of gene expression variations found between each condition and experiment (shorter distances indicate a greater resemblance).
