The additional notation used in the table is as follows. i: intronic transcript. ^: the exact probe mapping coordinates was not specified in the array annotation file, and gene start/stop locations are therefore given according to the NCBI37/mm9 genome assembly. &: these genes showed opposing sex-bias for different probes. *: known XCI escapee gene.
