D KL vs AT content. Log-transformed D KL (vertical axis) is plotted against AT content (horizontal axis) with accompanying regression lines and 99% prediction intervals for chromosomes, plasmids, phages, and GIs. A clear correlation can be observed for all DNA sequences between (log-transformed) D KL and AT content meaning that randomness in DNA sequences increases with AT content. The highest correlation was observed between relative entropy in phages and AT content.
