  1. The table enumerates the truth values for the binary feature function left external equality (f4). Only the possible entries are annotated with zero and one. The other entries require different values of Z j in X ij and Xp j , which is not possible. Note, that the feature function can assume one only when X ij and X pj are equal, which is in accordance with the definition of that feature function.
