Susceptibility of salmon louse laboratory strains to emamectin benzoate (EMB). Toxicity responses of adult male salmon lice (Lepeophtheirus salmonis) laboratory strains S and PT in 24Ā hours immotility bioassays. Symbols represent the immotility response observed in one of duplicate beakers of ten individuals included for each combination of strain and treatment. Doseā€“response relationships (solid lines) were established using probit analysis, and yielded EC50 values of 73.9Ā Ī¼gĀ L-1 (95% confidence intervals: 58.9 - 92.0Ā Ī¼gĀ L-1) for the S strain and 642.3Ā Ī¼gĀ L-1 (642.3 - 957.4Ā Ī¼gĀ L-1) for the PT strain.
