The inhibitory effects of HHQ on colony formation in human breast cancer cells (MDA-MB-231 and MCF-7) as evaluated by clonogenic assay. The breast cancer cells were exposed to 12.5 µM and 25 µM concentration of HHQ for 48 h at 37 °C. Decrease in number of colonies in HHQ treated groups were statistically significant (*P<0.05).
