Histogram of the distribution of the maximum specific growth rate μ max (h-1) according to the temperature in two media: SD (A) and SM (B). Bars represent the frequency of the individuals with an μmax value within the same range of variation. The superimposed bell-shaped line shows the growth data at different temperatures following a Gaussian distribution. Due to differences in the growth rate, different scales were used for μmax distribution in SD and SM.
