Rarefaction analysis of 16S amplicons sequenced from four individual third instar larvae of A. glabripennis feeding on sugar maple. Curves failed to reach saturation, indicating that the community may harbor additional OTUs not sampled for sequencing. This hypothesis is supported by 20 additional OTUs detected by further sequencing of Sample 1 (dotted line).
