Colony-Forming Units (CFUs) in Epinephelus coioides larvae infected with V. alginolyticus . Larvae were injected with 1.3 × 106 CFU/ml V. alginolyticus (20 μl per fish). Control fish were injected with Tryptic soy broth containing 1.5% NaCl. Significance was set at P < 0.05, as determined by one-way ANOVA followed by Duncan’s test.
