 Each chromosome was divided into nonoverlapping 50kb bins. Repetitive content in each bin was compared to the chromosomal average repetitive content and each bin was scored either 1 (bin repetitive content greater than chromosomal average) or 0 (bin repetitive content lower than chromosomal average).
