Genomic organisation of the bovine cathelicidin gene cluster on bovine chromosome 22 (BTA22). Comparison of recent annotations of the bovine cathelicidin cluster [33, 34]. Our results are based on the BosTau7 (Baylor) genomic assembly, while the Elsik et al. and Dawson et al. results are based on the alternative BosTau6 (University of Maryland) assembly. Both assemblies are based on sequence data from the same Hereford animal. Genes predicted to be pseudogenised contain premature stop codons.
