Two-dimensional autoradiograms of de novo -synthesized proteins in leaves from L-, L→H-, N- and N→H-light treated plants. ³⁵S-methionine was applied to the leaf surface at t = 4 h after transfer to H-light and the controls. Leaves were harvested at t = 6 h. Samples equivalent to 10⁶ counts per minute were loaded on each gel. The gels were prepared for autoradiography and x-ray films exposed for 48 h at -80°C. The experiments were conducted three times and representative autoradiograms are shown.
