Transactivation of SlTPS5 promoter by SlEOT1, SlMYC1, SlWRKY73 or combination thereof in N. benthamiana leaves . Normalized GUS activity after co-infiltration with A. tumefaciens harboring the 35S:EOT1, 35S:MYC1, 35S:WRKY73 effector constructs or combination thereof and the SlTPS5p:GUS reporter construct. The 35S:RFP effector construct was used as negative control. The bars represent the obtained mean values and the error bars the standard error (n = 4). RFP; red fluorescent protein.
