  1. aAlthough atp6 and rpl16 of Asclepias syriaca are annotated in GenBank as pseudogenes, new analyses suggest functionality for both genes. bBoea hygrometrica, cHelianthus annuus, and dVaccinium macrocarpon mitochondrial genomes were re-annotated using MITOFY [27] in this study. atp[x] = atp[1,4,6,8,9], ccm[x] = ccm[B, C, Fc, Fn], cox[x] = cox[1-3], nad[x] = nad[1, 2, 3, 4, 4L, 5, 6, 7, 9].
