Blue color (-7) was used to represent the lack of virus detection, whereas red color (+2) was employed for highly expressed genes. Each row corresponds to one of 39 viral genes and each column represents an individual (n = 12 per time). The five groups/families of genes were: Ο: putative protein; □: enzyme; ■ RING finger protein; ★: Inhibitor apoptosis and ♦: membrane protein. The full list of genes is available in Segarra et al. [18]. Three clusters were generated for each family: C1, C2 and C3.
