Expression levels of OBPs and CSPs in the antennae, legs, bodies (thorax + abdomen), and heads (minus antennae) of Cerapachys biroi workers. Data are shown log-transformed, error bars indicate standard deviations. Letters indicate tissues significantly enriched compared to all remaining tissues: A = antennae, L = legs, B = bodies, H = heads. Asterisks indicate maximum FDR adjusted P value of enriched vs. other tissues: * < 0.05, ** < 0.01, *** < 0.001. Expression was calculated with the Cufflinks software, and differences in expression were tested for significance using CuffDiff (Trapnell et al. 2013). Three biological replicates were analyzed for each tissue type.
