From: Identification and functional characterization of copy number variations in diverse chicken breeds
Validation through qPCR for the EDN3 loci in Silkie and Xichuan Black-bone chickens. Fourteen samples from two breeds, Silkie chicken (SK) and Xichuan Black-bone chicken (XC), were analyzed using qPCR for the EDN3 locus. Each DNA sample was diluted to 10 ng/μL, and the concentrations were verified using a spectrophotometer. qPCR analyses were processed using the same standard curve method as applied in the validation test.
